How do I find food and meat in Eiyuden Chronicle?

Basically, you’re going to want to head into certain forested, mountainous, and enemy-infested areas to search for occupied traps. They’ll look like they have a bear caught under a net.

The first opportunity to happen upon them is once the blockade to Mountain Path Homeward is removed during the early hours of the game. When you’re heading back to Nowa’s hometown on a mission for the Eltisweiss Watch, you’ll happen about these spots a number of times.

Now, it’s random as to whether you’ll get “food” or “meat” from this kind of gathering point. If you get food, you’ll get 10 pieces. If you get meat, it will be three pieces. This tracks, due to how they’ll be used at the castle fortress. The food is used as part of the development process to build things up. Meanwhile, meat is used for cooking.

Since you can get more of either item by revisiting areas with them, it can be easier to get than say, fish.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
