Where to Find Nightshade location in Hades 2

Nightshade can be found in Erebus in Hades 2 and can be harvested with the Silver Spade Gathering Tool. However, there are a few steps you need to complete first before you can unlock the resource.

Here is how to get N.Shade in Hades 2:

  • Progress your game through Erebus until you unlock the Incantation Pot at the Crossroads.
  • Complete the “Flourishing Soil” Incantation by gathering one “Moly” plant. For where to find the flower, check out our How to Get Moly in Hades 2 guide.
  • After completing “Flourishing Soil,” you will then be able to plant Nightshade Seeds in the ground next to the pot.
  • Walk up to the soil mounds and press “RB” to plant the seeds. Now complete a few runs and then return to the Crossroads to harvest Nightahde off them.

How to Get Nightshade Seeds in Hades 2

Although you will get N.Shade after completing the “Flourishing Soil” Incantation, you will need to know where to get Nightshade Seeds if you want more of the plant. And you will need more if you want to unlock future Incantations and items.

Here is how to get Nightshade Seeds in Hades 2:

  • After completing the “Flourishing Soil” Incantation, head to the training grounds.
  • Unlock the “Silver Spade” Gathering Tool.
  • Start a run in Erebus and look for a dirt mound when entering each new level.
  • If you see a sparkling dirt mound, walk up and press “RB” to dig up the Nightshade Seeds.

How to Get N.Shade

The first step is the trickiest, as you need to complete the “Flourishing Soil” Incantation. However, this isn’t too difficult as you can find the yellow “Moly” flower throughout the opening level of Erebus. Once you have unlocked the soil, you just need to go out and find Nightshade Seeds in Hades 2.

Again, you won’t have to travel far as Nightshade Seeds spawn in Erebus in Hades 2. Just start a run and look for a dirt mound that sparkles. Before you dive into a run, though, make sure you have the “Silver Spade” shovel equipped. For your convenience, I have provided an image below to show what you are looking for to get N.Shade seeds:

Once you have Nightshade Seeds, return to the Crossroads and then plant them in the soil. This part is a bit annoying as you need to wait for the Nightshade to grow. However, this can be done quickly if you start a run and purposely die. Or you can just play the game and return at a later time. Either way, you can get Nightshade now at the Soil in the Crossroads.
