How to Get the Little Kitty, Big City Ducklings

Once you get access to the bigger city in Little Kitty, Big City, you can encounter the father duck at the shrine looking for the ducklings. Their locations are clearly marked on the town map he gives you, which also serves as a general map for the area, but each baby isn’t ready to return for show and tell yet.

How do I get the duckling at the arcade in Little Kitty, Big City?

The duckling at the arcade is incredibly visible. Once you look past the grabbing machine, you’ll see the little buddy sitting on a seat, watching a Street Fighter-like game play on the cabinet. This one won’t leave until you get the screen to stop showing things.

This is one of the easiest ducklings to get. The goal is to cause the leaking water pipe to drip on the power cords next to it. Jump on top of the boxes and cabinets to get on top of the pipes. Follow them to the shelf above the vending machine behind the Dance Dance Revolution-esque cabinet. I marked the spot in the screenshot below:

You’ll see a lever the kitty can interact with here. Do so. The short will cause the duckling to abandon the cabinet and follow you.

How do I get the duckling at the grocery store in Little Kitty, Big City?

The grocery store duckling is just as easy to get as the arcade one. While you can’t see it right from the entrance and need to go inside, it is immediately to your right. It’s sitting in a pool of water in the first aisle. However, the cat is afraid of water, and the duckling refuses to leave their “personal pond.”

The trick here is to go down the second aisle and walk all the way back. You’ll see there’s a fan blowing down the third aisle. Grab it and pull it all the way down to the first aisle. This will get the duckling out of the spilled water and get them to follow you.

Also, don’t forget to take advantage of the nap spot on the copier near the counter! Plus, with that fan out of the way, it is much easier to use that way as a possible escape route once you steal the fish from the grocery store!

How do I get the duckling off of the roof in Little Kitty, Big City?

This duckling is a bit tricky to get in Little Kitty, Big City, as you need to jump up on the things in the alley between the grocery store and laundromat to get onto the grocery store’s roof. It isn’t too tricky. You don’t need any additional fish to climb any ivy. Just some well-timed leaps on top of air conditioners and pipes will get you up there. The only tricky part is the map makes it look like the duckling is in the grocery store, rather than on its roof.

Once you do, you’ll see a duckling floating in mid-air over a fan. While getting up here took some time, getting the duckling down involves another pulling puzzle. A blue container with handles is nearby. Pull on it until it blocks the fan.

The duckling will come back to earth and join your crew.

How do I get the duckling out of the laundromat dryer in Little Kitty, Big City?

This is the duckling that gave me the most trouble, and it is because it is the only encounter in Little Kitty, Big City that involved my using the “zoomies” dash in this way.

You’ll likely pick up this duckling last. This is because you need at least two fish to climb the ivy to get into the laundromat. The front doors won’t open, so you need to go to the alley to the right of the entrance, climb the ivy up the back wall, then go onto the ledge on the right that leads to the open window to enter it.

Hop in front of the dryer and talk to the duckling inside of it in Little Kitty, Big City once you’re in the laundromat. It won’t leave until the ride ends. The power cord shows it connects to a red button on the other side of the laundromat.

Hop onto the washers on the opposite side of the laundromat. Use the cat’s paw swiping command to hit the laundry detergent off of the washers. Do not hit it into the open washer. If you do, it will cause bubbles that scare the kitty, and I found it was impossible to get the right zoomies momentum to hit the button without that extra runway.

With the laundry soap out of the way, use the zoomies dash to make the kitty run into the red button to turn off the power. The dryer will stop and the duckling will get out.

What do I get for getting all of the ducklings in Little Kitty, Big City?

You get a duck hat! The father duck won’t take the ducklings unless all four are present, because the four of them refuse to leave you. Once the task is done, you get to dress like a duck and keep your map.

Little Kitty, Big City is available for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and PC
