How to Get the Snorkel in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

To dive underwater in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you need to craft the Snorkel. Getting your hands on it will take some work, though. Especially since the option doesn’t even open up until you’re good friends with Kuromi.

How do I unlock the Snorkel so I can dive in Hello Kitty Island Adventure?

To unlock the Snorkel in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you must reach level six Friendship Level with Kuromi. The best way of doing this is by gifting her Pumpkins, Jack-o-Lanterns, Pumpkin Pie, and Pumpkin Spice Soda. Once you’ve reached level six Friendship Level with her, she will give you the “Deep Diving” tool quest, loan you her Snorkel, and ask you to retrieve her lost Locket from the bottom of the Spooky Swamp.

Just north from where she’s standing is a large pond. Swim out here, and you’ll notice a Snorkel icon appear on the bottom right. This indicates you’re in deep enough water to dive down. To dive, touch the Snorkel icon with your finger and slide it down, or use the right joystick if you’re using a Bluetooth controller or V and the spacebar if you’re on Mac.

The Locket is resting on the bottom of the Swamp. Pick it up, then take it and the Snorkel back to Kuromi. She will gift you the Snorkel Crafting Plans in return so that you can make your own.

How do I craft the Snorkel?

With the Snorkel Crafting Plans in hand, take them to a Crafting Table. You need two Sparks, two Ingots, and 10 balls of Rubber to craft the Snorkel in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Once you’ve crafted it, it’s yours to keep permanently. There are other deep water areas that you can explore now, such as the Rainbow Reef and the sunken pirate ship.
