There are several ways to game the system and increase your carrying capacity in Dragon’s Dogma 2. One of which is actually in character creation. You see, the larger your character is, the more they can carry. So, if you want to be able to carry just about anything you find in the world, I suggest maxing out your height and muscle. This will increase the ability to carry items exponentially.

This is why you will more than likely find very large Pawns wandering around the world created by seasoned Dragon’s Dogma players. If you were unaware of this little trick, you can always use The Art of Metamorphosis to make your character taller and more muscular. To learn more about the item, check out our How to Get the Art of Metamorphosis in Dragon’s Dogma 2 guide.

The second way to increase your carrying weight is either by equipping The Ring of Profusion, Augments or by locating Golden Trove Beetles. Consuming these golden bugs will grant you a 0.15 kg carrying load increase. These can be found throughout the world and are easy to spot, given that they are giant, luminescent golden beetles.

Attributes you can obtain through your the Fighter Vocation can be used to boost your carrying load as well. This specific Augment is called Thew. Ideally, what you will want to do is make your Pawn extremely tall and muscular so that they can carry whatever you need. Their Vocation will not affect their carrying capacity, so you can, in fact, make a totally jacked Sorcerer that can lug around your camping supplies.

And if you don’t have any of the items or Augment listed above, don’t be afraid to distribute your pack load to your Pawns. Just make sure to take any items off of Pawns that are not yours before dismissing them. Since there is a chance they will take those items back with them upon their dismissal. Regardless, they can help you shoulder your burden, so don’t be afraid to hand off whatever is weighing you down to someone a little heartier.
