How to Marry a Rune Factory 3 Special Bachelorette

So in the Rune Factory games, marriage is often an endgame thing. You’ll need to finish all the dungeons and take on bosses, in addition to getting certain upgrades for your house, raise love interest’s affections, and get a ring. With Rune Factory 3 Special, there are a lot of hurdles to clear to marry a bachelorette, but they’re all the same as they were on the DS.

How to marry a bachelorette in Rune Factory 3 Special.

Well, the first thing you need to do is spend quite a bit of times giving the bachelorette you want to marry in Rune Factory 3 Special lots of gifts. Take her on dates to the spots she likes. Finish all of her requests, which are tied to her heart level, that you see on the bulletin board or in the mailbox in Sharance or at the owl at the Univir settlement. Also make sure you take her on dates once she hits the higher heart levels. (Usually around seven, though when I first dated Kuruna she was at eight.)

As you’re doing that, go through the game’s story. You’ll need to complete all the main story quests and dungeons, leading up to the Unity Festival that again declares peace between the humans in Sharance and monsters in Univir.

Finally, you need to buy and make two things. After I beat the boss in Oddward Valley, I ended up running into Hazel in town. She then said she would be selling some furniture. That’s when the Double Bed appeared in the store. To buy it, you have to have 80 pieces of lumber and 15,000g ready.

You’ll also need to craft an Engagement Ring. I got this recipe from Wells and Margorie during an automatic event after the Unity Festival. For it, you’ll need a ruby and two pieces of silver. The ruby can be mined from Sol Terrano’s rocks if you use a hammer on them. Those same rocks may also drop the silver you need. (However, silver is also a common mining item at Oddward and Vale River.)

If you get all these things and propose to a girl, then this will trigger another event. After she accepts, you’ll learn your fiance disappeared from Wells. You’ll need to talk to people around town. You’ll have to go to the Dragon Cave in Dragon Lake. Make sure you have the Lily Pad Magic Seed, which costs 3,200G. You’ll need to deal with Aquaticus. It is a boss with no weaknesses, and it will also absorb any water attacks you use. I was at level 50 when I faced it, and it was still a chalenge.

Rune Factory 3 Special is available on the Nintendo Switch and PC.
