How to Meet with Takechi and Join the Tosa Loyalist Party in Like a Dragon: Ishin

Tosa is a pretty small town, but it can be easy to wonder where you should go to help Rhoda Sakamoto get on the right track. Fortunately, reuniting with his brother Takechi Hanpeita in Like a Dragon: Ishin. Basically, much of it involves waiting for someone to “scout” you. However, you do need to do something else to trigger that meeting. Essentially, you can’t get in unless you first view one of the many battle tutorials that help you prepare Ryoma for the fights ahead.

How to Meet with Takechi and Join the Tosa Tosa Loyalist Party in Like a Dragon: Ishin

After Ryoma meets with his father at the Kengoshi Schoolhouse, head north, then east to Takechi’s dojo inLike a Dragon: Ishin. The building will be highlighted in blue. Talk to the guard, who will refuse to let Ryoma in. From here, head south to the main street, then all the way east past the restaurant Yoi-Yoi. This will trigger a story sequence and Swordman Style tutorial fight against a group of fake Tosa Loyalist Party members. Once you beat them, Yahei will come and speak to you. You now have permission to enter the dojo.

Takechi will then welcome you with open arms. He names Ryoma party representative and second-in-command.

Like a Dragon: Ishin is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
