How to obtain Sushi Recipe in Palia

Getting the recipe for Sushi isn’t as straightforward as obtaining those you can purchase from Reth. Since this is one of the more complex recipes to obtain, you actually need to expand your horizons and level up a profession outside of cooking to unlock this dish.

You will need to be at least Fishing Level 7 to get one key component to obtain the Sushi Recipe, which is the Glow Worms. You can purchase the recipe for a Glow Worm Farm from Einar at Fisherman’s Lagoon in Palia once you reach Fishing Level 7. Keep in mind that leveling up your professions takes time and can be even longer if you’re not eating food to boost your Focus.

So you will need to dedicate yourself to leveling up Fishing if you want to get Glow Worms to obtain this recipe, as this is the easiest way to obtain the needed recipe item. This is especially true since purchasing them directly will cost you a different currency (10 Fishing Coins) that you can only obtain after reaching Fishing Level 10.

Once you’ve made Glow Worms, which can be done by throwing any food or edible object into the Glow Worm Farm, head to a pond and begin fishing. This is the only way you can obtain the Sushi Recipe, and it is entirely at random whether or not you’ll end up fishing it up.

I’d suggest at least eating food while you fish away for this elusive recipe to level up your Fishing profession and reach Level 10 with some relative ease.

Palia is available for PC. It will be released for Nintendo Switch sometime in 2023.
