During your visit to Ikakaramba in Tales of Kenzera: Zau, you will need to follow a mysterious girl across an impassible spike pit. There is a way to get across, but you’ll need to make your own platform. This guide will explain how to pass the Spike Pit in Tales of Kenzera: Zau.
How to Find the Way Past the Spike Pit
When you reach the spike pit in Tales of Kenzera: Zau, there is a grassy platform you can stand on after the first batch of spikes. After this, there is a longer collection of spikes that can’t be crossed even with a double jump and dash. However, you can also go up from this grassy platform.
Look above the platform, and you’ll notice a wall and a platform. Jump towards the wall and launch off it to land on the platform. There is now a small series of platforms you can jump up to reach a new area. Just be careful as you jump because the walls here are lined with brambles. They’re not instant death like the spike pit, but you can take damage from them. At the top you’ll find a long platform and a block on a switch. This is what you’ll use to cross the spike pit below.
How to Get the Block into the Spike Pit
If you move the block off the switch, you’ll notice a trapdoor above the spike pit will close. You also won’t be able to move the block back onto the switch. Your goal is to get the block onto this trapdoor.
To get the block where it needs to go, push it to the right. Be careful, though, as two falling boulder traps are in your way. The best solution to get the block past these traps is to push it under the boulder and stop. Wait for a boulder to fall, then jump to the other side of the block and pull it out of the trap. Repeat this for the second trap until you reach the edge. Push the block off the ledge.
Drop down to the lower ledge and push the block all the way to the left. You’ll find the trapdoor, so leave the block on the door. Now head back and wall jump back up to the boulder traps. You can continue to wall jump up to an Echo here if you’re looking for collectibles. Whether you collect it or not, head back past the boulders to the switch. Stand on the switch, and the block will fall through the trap door and land in the spike pit.
Head back down through the bramble-lined platforms and back to the grassy platform. With the block down here now, it acts as a new platform that can be used to cross to the other side of the spike pit.
