Strengths and Weaknesses of Support Characters in Gigantic

Support characters are at their strongest when they’re sticking close to their team. If they are coordinated and alert, they can change the tide of any given battle. Their utility is their strongest asset, helping to keep their teammates standing even in tough situations.

Of course, the trade-off here is that this typically comes at a cost of their attack or defense capabilities. Some Support characters have limited combat capabilities, such as Zandora or Vadasi, while others have little health to keep them going in the heat of combat. Their focus shouldn’t be keeping an eye on the opponents but on their own team.

Best Support Characters in Gigantic

Vadasi is the go-to Support character in Gigantic. Healing and buffs are at the heart of her character, right down to her main ability being a healing beam. While she can do some damage with Ray of Light, she’s at her best when staying focused on keeping everyone alive. Her mobility is good too, allowing her to stay near her team but out of danger.

Zandora is a solid close second. She has a secondary Frontline class, which gives her strong defense and allows her to act as a protector as well as a healer. She isn’t great as a pure Frontline character, but if she’s focused on healing everyone else around her while taking the brunt of the damage herself, she can be extremely useful.

For other front-line Support, both Griselma and Aisling, using her Support build, make strong cases for themselves. Both characters can summon assistants to aid in battle, keeping them out of the fray if necessary, but their abilities offer a nice blend of buffing and healing as long as they stick close to their team.

Finally, while Voden is primarily a Ranged DPS character, his role as a Support character is nothing to scoff at either. He’s useful at helping out the backline, primarily other ranged characters. His Healer build enhances everything, too, with Hidden Spring placing two springs down for his team to heal in.

Gigantic is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
