How to Recruit Pastole and Get a Hunter’s Cabin in Eiyuden Chronicle

There are a lot of people you need to recruit to run facilities in your Eiyuden Chronicle town, and Pastole is the one tied to the Hunter’s Cabin. Once you start heading toward Hishahn, you can pick him up.

How do I recruit Pastole in Eiyuden Chronicle?

Once you can reach the Euchrisse region and are heading toward Hishahn, you can stop in Twinhorne East on the way. Walk past where Mariette was and head west until you’re in front of the town’s Tool Shop. You’ll see a man in green there. That’s Pastole.

I marked where you can find him here on the map:

Now, I was at town level 2 at this point, so I’m not sure if town size and level is a factor. However, all I needed to do was talk to him. He immediately agreed to join my army. He’ll then head back to base.

Is Pastole good in Eiyuden Chronicle?

Eh. I mean, you’ll eventually need pelts for things in-game. So having a Hunter’s Cabin at your town and castle is handy. But he’s not someone you should have as your support. All his presence means is your hunting point acquisition goes up. Keep Cassandra around instead.

Note that it does take some time to actually build a Hunter’s Cabin in Eiyuden Chronicle. First, you need to get your base to level 2, which requires 26 allies, 100 pieces of food, and 6,400 in Headquarters Funds. Then, you need to invest in the Resource Depot Cap 1, which costs 800 Headquarters Funds and 4 Mystic Lumber. Once you do that, you can spend 800 Headquarters Funds and 40 Stone after Pastole is recruited to build the Hunter’s Cabin. That also increases your population by 40 in addition to netting you pelts.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
