Like Shinjiro Aragaki, there are some side story events between the Persona 3 Reload player character and Ryoji Mochizuki. These start showing up at the beginning of November and, given how the story goes, you’ll want to take advantage of each opportunity the second it appears.
When can you interact with Ryoji during Persona 3 Reload?

After Ryoji transfers in at the beginning of November in Persona 3 Reload, you’ll get your first chance to trigger an event with him during the After School time period on November 12th. Immediately after class, he’ll be standing on the right side of the classroom, near the windows, with two exclamation points over his head. If you approach him, you’ll have a chance to spend time after school with Ryoji. Time will then pass until the evening.
During this encounter, you’ll have the option to select some responses. Regardless of your choices, all of the Personas you currently own will get +1 added to each stat. As such, it is best to make sure you load up on Personas before November 12th.
The next chance to spend time with Ryoji is on the school trip. On the evening of November 18th, go to the second floor of the inn. Ryoji will have two exclamation points over his head again. He’ll ask to spend time together tomorrow. Agree. The next day, you’ll go through the day, then see an event with him. Again, your responses won’t matter. Also, all of your equipped Personas will get +1 added to every stat.
Finally, you’ll see the last event on December 1st. You’ll get a text message when the After School period ends. He’ll ask to meet you at the music room. If you opt to “meet with Ryoji” from it, you will automatically fast travel to the door to the room on the first floor. The two of you will talk again. After the conversation ends, you’ll see +1 added to each Persona’s stats for a final time.
As an aside, if you choose to the “spare” option on December 31st, Ryoji will give you the Music Box key item. This allows you to fuse the Persona Saturnus.
