Where to Start the FFXIV Moogle Treasure Trove Event

To start this limited-time event, players must first seek out one of the various Itinerant Moogle NPCs in the world. There are three different places to find these and we have the locations for all three of them. Here is where you can find the Itinerant Moogle NPCs and start this event:

  • Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks: X: 9.4, Y: 11.6
  • New Gridania: X: 12.4, Y: 12.1
  • Ul’dah Steps of Nald: X: 9.6, Y: 9.1

Once you go here, you will be able to get the Mogpendium, which is required for this event. You can also trade the Irregular Tomestone of Genesis you collect for various prizes with these Moogles. This event will take place from May 14 to June 24, 2024.

How to Get Irregular Tomestone of Genesis FFXIV

The crux of the FFXIV Moogle Treasure Trove Event 2024 is to collect the Irregular Tomestone of Genesis. This is a new currency for this event, which lets you collect new mounts, minions, and more. To earn these tomestones, you need to complete the four different types of objectives:

  • Standard objectives
  • Weekly objectives
  • Minimog challenges
  • Ultimog challenges

Standard objectives are your basic duties, such as dungeons, GATEs in the Gold Saucer, and ocean fishing. Weekly objectives are essentially timed missions. You can only do one per week, but they give you a lot of tomestones. Minimog challenges are also weekly but give a ton. Finally, Ultimog challenges are a single complete per player for the entire event, but they give the most.

Final Fantasy XIV is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
