How to Unlock the Sastasha Dungeon in FFXIV

Final Fantasy XIV features a plethora of dungeons for players to explore and to complete for various rewards. One such dungeon in FFXIV is Sastasha, and it is available to unlock with relative ease. This dungeon is the first the player will ever encounter and complete, in the MMORPG. While it is part of the Main Scenario Questline, you will not unlock Sastasha immediately, as some prerequisites will need to be met.

How to Unlock Sastasha in FFXIV

In order to unlock Sastasha players must first obtain the Main Scenario Quest “It’s Probably Pirates.” From there, you will want to travel to X:28, Y:21 in Western La Noscea. The easiest way to get to this dungeon is to either take the Aetheryte in Limsa Lominsa to Aleport and walk just north to find your way to the entrance of Sastasha. Or, you can take Porter to Aleport from Limsa Lominsa proper to reach this area by Chocobo.

If you want to tackle Sastasha you will not only need to continue the Main Scenario to the quest listed above, but also be Level 15. However, at the rate that FFXIV now distributes experience, you will more than likely be well above level 15 before you even reach Sastasha.

Sastasha is a dungeon in FFXIV that is required for players to complete before they can progress the Main Scenario. Thankfully, Sastasha is relatively easy and can be done with the Trust System. This means that you will not need to recruit other players to enter or beat the dungeon. Additionally, since it is a relatively low level one, it can be completed fairly quickly. Upon completing Sastasha it will be added to your Duty Roulette.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
