How to Unlock The Pool of Tribute in FFXIV

Like previous expansions, FFXIV‘s Main Scenario Quest include Trials. One such Trial in the Stormblood expansion is The Pool of Tribute, which players can unlock simply through FFXIV Main Scenario progression. This specific fight will set players against the Lord of Revel, Susano. Like previous Trials, an Extreme fight will be available to you further down the line. This guide breaks down how to unlock The Pool of Tribute and the Pool of Tribute (Extreme).

How to Unlock The Pool of Tribute in FFXIV: Stormblood

The Pool of Tribute is one of several Trials that will become available as you progress through the Stormblood expansion. Once you pick up the quest “The Lord of Revel,” which can be found at X:4.7, Y:22.2 in The Ruby Sea, you can head out. Again, this is a quest that will accompany the Main Scenario, so there is no possible way to miss this. However, there are other requirements that must be most in order to undertake The Pool of Tribute at The Ruby Sea (X:4.7, Y:22.2) and fight the Lord of Revel, Susano.

The requirements for unlocking The Pool of Tribute are as follows:

  • Level 63

How to Unlock The Pool of Tribute (Extreme)

Additionally, like all Trials in Final Fantasy XIV, The Pool of Tribute also has an Extreme version. However, in order to undertake The Pool of Tribute (Extreme), players must first finish the Stormblood Main Sccenario Quest “Stormblood.” Unlike in Heavensward, unlock the Extreme Trials for this expansion are much easier. Once you have beaten Stormblood, head to Kugane (X:11.6, Y:12.6) and speak to the Wandering Minstrel. Picking up the quest “Songs in the Key of Kugane” will unlock The Pool of Tribute (Extreme) at The Ruby Sea (X:4.7, Y:22.2).

These are the requirements for unlocking The Pool of Tribute (Extreme):

  • Complete Main Scenario Quest “Stormblood”
  • Level 70
  • Item Level 300

Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
