The final Trial as part of the Four Lords optional questline in FFXIV Stormblood, The Wreath of Snakes is relatively easy to unlock. By following the questline and defeating the other Lords, you will find yourself at the conclusion of this narrative inspired by the Divine Beasts. This guide breaks down how to unlock The Wreath of Snakes and The Wreath of Snakes (Extreme), which will wrap up the Four Lords quests.

How to Unlock The Wreath of Snakes in FFXIV Stormblood

The final part of the Four Lords subquest, unlocking The Wreath of Snakes is relatively simple. However, in order to access this Trial, players will have needed to complete “The Fire-bird Down Below.” Once this is done, you will need to head to X:27.8, Y:16.4 in The Ruby Sea to accept the quest “Surpassing the Samurai.” Once this is done, you can access The Wreath of Snakes and wrap up this optional content.

The requirements for unlocking The Wreath of Snakes are as follows:

  • Complete “The Fire-bird Down Bellow”
  • Level 70
  • Item Level 365

How to The Wreath of Snakes (Extreme)

Just like the previous Trials, you only need to undertake one quest in order to unlock The Wreath of Snakes (Extreme). In order to pick up this quest, go to Kugane and proceed to X:11.6, Y:12.6 and speak to the Wandering Minstrel. Picking up the quest “Songs in the Key of Kugane.” This will unlock The Jade Stoa (Extreme).

These are the requirements for unlocking The Jade Stoa (Extreme):

  • Complete “Surpassing the Samurai”
  • Level 70
  • Item Level 380
