How to Unlock Thok ast Thok (Hard) FFXIV

Final Fantasy XIV boasts a number of Trials for players to tackle. Unlike Dungeons, Trials can feature anywhere from four to eight players, depending on the fight. Some Trials, much like Thok ast Thok (Hard) in FFXIV, are part of the Main Scenario and will unlock through progression. Thankfully, due to it being included in the natural story progression of the game, players will unlock this Trial by simply going through the Heavensward expansion.

How to Unlock Thok ast Thok (Hard) in FFXIV: Heavensward

First, for those wondering if there is a Thok ast Thok (Normal) like previous Trials, there is not. In the Heavensward expansion certain Trials are labeled as “Hard,” while others aren’t given the same classification. Only one other Trial is labeled as such here, and FFXIV does away with this in future expansions.

In order to unlock this specific Trial, players only need to progress the Main Scenario Quests, as stated previously. The Main Scenario Quest that will unlock Thok ast Thok (Hard) is “Lord of the Hive.” Once you have obtained this quest, you will face off against Ravana. Additionally, completing this quest will increase the speed of your mount in The Dravanian Forelands.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
