How to Use Whispering Keys in Diablo IV

As you arrive in Kyovashad, you’ll meet Lizveth, a Purveyor of Curiosities who sells equipment and Whispering Keys. If you decide to spend your Murmuring Obols on a Whispering Key, here’s how to use it in Diablo IV.

How do I use my Whispering Key in Diablo IV?

Whispering Keys are used to open Silent Chests, which contain loot rewards. In my experience, these can be hit or miss. I’ve had rare drops from them, and I’ve also had nothing worth my time. So bear that in mind before deciding to splash 20 Murmuring Obols on a key.

Silent Chests appear randomly across Sanctuary. They glow gold and feature an eye-like pattern on the lid. I’ve had the most success finding Silent Chests outside the Bear Tribe Refuge area of Fractured Peaks, but your mileage may vary.

To open a Silent Chest and reap its rewards, simply interact with it while you’ve got a Whispering Key in your inventory, and it will unlock.

I’ve forgotten where Lizveth is in Diablo IV. How do I find her?

Though Lizveth isn’t the only Purveyor of Curiosities in Diablo IV, she is the easiest to find. Warp to Kyovashad and head southeast. You’ll see her standing in the shadows by an iron gate.
