The Grimes Fortnite Coachella concert crossover event will happen on Saturday, April 20th. However, it should be stated that it hasn’t been confirmed that her full concert will be performed inside the game. In a Social Media post, Grimes teased: “weekend 2, tune into the live stream cuz we’re gna hack into it and bend reality with @FortniteGame and @GRIMES_V1.”
Based on the wording, it appears that Grimes will have some kind of tie-in with Fortnite during her second-week concert at Coachella. Interestingly, the award-winning artist also tagged her “AI” personality ‘GrimesV1’. So, it’s possible Fortnite players will get some kind of performance from the AI version of Grimes.

Tune in to the stream at 7:10 PM (PT) on Saturday, April 20th and watch her performance. According to her social media post, Grimes will then blend her Coachella concert with Fortnite.
What “bend reality” means, though, is anyone’s guess. However, many fans have speculated that a live concert inside of Fortnite will possibly take place alongside her show at Coachella. So make sure to stay logged into Fortnite while watching her Coachella stream, just in case.
It’s unclear if the Grimes Fortnite event will also take place during Week 1 of Coachella. However, the singer’s tweet specifically said to tune in during “week 2”, so it appears this will only happen on April 20.
