Hudson Constructing Giant Robot Strategy RPG

When I think of Hudson Adventure Island, Bomberman, Bonk, and Star Soldier come to mind. Not mecha. Definitely not giant robots anime licenses. Seeing Hudson with a Kurogane no Linebarrels (Linebarrels of Iron) is bewildering.

This PSP game is based on an anime series of the same name. Linebarrels of Iron doesn’t rehash or summarize the series. The trailer explains this has an original story. When you watch the trailer pay attention around the forty second mark. Notice the grid? Linebarrels of Iron appears to be a mecha strategy RPG with 3D damage scenes.

Linebarrels of Iron is set to assault Japanese stores this fall.
