Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle has landed on Steam Greenlight looking to come to PC.
This is essentially The Mansion: A Puzzle of Rooms, a mobile game we covered previously.
For those unfamiliar with the game, it stars Anne as she tries to escape a puzzle-riddled mansion. The problem being, the rooms themselves are the puzzles. Each level comes with several rooms that you’ll have to navigate to get from the entrance to the exit.
At first, it’s as easy as simply climbing up and down ladders, but as the game advances things can become mind-bending. First, rooms begin to open up into empty space. Then, more tricks and traps get added. Telephones will teleport Anne between themselves, mannequins will follow her every move and slowly chase Anne down. Or, we could just go with traditional poison-gas filled rooms and bomb explosions.
The game will be playable at TGS later this year in the Indie game booth area.
Rooms: The Unsolvable Puzzle is available now on iOS and Android as The Mansion: A Puzzle of Rooms, and is looking to come to PC via Steam Greenlight. You can vote for it here.
