Players can design combos for the CPUs in Hyperdimension Neptunia VII. There are three different kinds of attacks: Rush attacks deal less damage, but have a higher hit count which can increase your drive gauge. Power attacks are the opposite, those attacks give high damage, but have a low hit count. Standard attacks fall in the middle between the two attack types.
The weapon you equip changes the possible combo options. See where the number 1 is? That’s the weapon’s potential combo layout. The first attack for this weapon can only be a Standard attack. Players can choose Rush, Power, or Standard for the second attack. The third attack can either be Power or Standard while the fourth attack is locked to Power.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II comes out on April 23 for PlayStation 4 in Japan. First print copies include an art book. Compile Heart also has a limited edition which includes the game and a three disc Digipack with illustrations drawn by Tsunako packed in a special box with an illustration by Tsunako.
