Idea Factory Is Rolling In Money, Thanks To Neptunia And Record Of Agarest War

Moe-RPG publisher Idea Factory announced record profits for the fiscal period ending in September 2010.

In 2008, Idea Factory posted 300 million yen in earnings and sales of 1.9 billion yen. The Tokyo-based publisher did a little bit better in 2009 with 310 million yen in earnings and 2.22 billion yen in sales.

This year, Idea Factory posted 710 million in earnings ($8.8 million) and 2.85 billion yen of sales ($35 million). That’s over double the amount of money Idea Factory brought in last year. Idea Factory is thanking fans with four wallpapers.

During this period Idea Factory released games like Hakuouki: Junsouroku, Agarest Senki Zero: Dawn of War, and Hyperdimension Neptunia.
