Yes, we, no the world gets Ikaruga on Wednesday and the Xbox Live Arcade version is friendlier than the Gamecube Dreamcast release. For the uninitiated there is a slow motion training mode. A good addition to balance the hardcore nature of Ikaruga’s bullet patterns for an audience unfamiliar with shmups. Ikaruga packages Xbox Live features like online play and a record/replay function.

 

Also it looks beautiful and Ikaruga is a steal for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Second hand prices for the hard to find Atari published Gamecube version have begun to decline, but finding a retail copy for under $10 is still rare.
