Square Enix updated the latest on Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna, their upcoming RPG project that aims to bring back feelings and memories from ‘90s RPGs, with a look at some cooperative battle moves and an introduction of two new characters.

Cooperative Skills can be done when certain skills are equipped, then after the ATB gauge fills up, you can have two or three party members join in to attack simultaneously to activate Cooperative Skill for some devastating damage.

Here are some of them:

X-Slash:

The protagonist and Kuon tags up for a high-speed dash attack. They say that its speed is so fast, you can see traces of an X forming from it.

Icega Slash:

A combination of a powerful attack and water elemental magic creates this Cooperative Skill between the protagonist and Julion.

When you combine the powers of three characters, they’ll demonstrate mighty force from a 3-man Cooperative Skill.

Keele:

Keele is a young boy from a mysterious family, and lives deep in the secluded mountains. While he was properly raised with care from those of the village, he envied the outside world, and suddenly left his home and village.

Keele always holds onto hope even when things are looking pretty hopeless, and his positive personality always uplifts everyone around him.

Keel is a mage who can use high-end magic. He can destroy enemies using his powerful fire-based magic.

Julion:

Julion is the descendant of an old royal family. She can get fixated onto things, and when she does, she doesn’t change her mind. You can say that she is more stubborn than just earnest.

Julion is noble-minded and has dignity like a proper knight, but her enigmatic appearance makes you think that she’s hiding something about her past.

She’s an attacker-type that specializes in different moves from her spear, and can also use water element spells.

Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna will release in Japan on February 18, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
