Level-5 shared new details on the upcoming soccer game Inazuma Eleven Ares in the latest issue of CoroCoro Comic, including details on its Scout system that will let you recruit many familiar faces. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

 

We haven’t seen much of Inazuma Eleven Ares’ gameplay, but the magazine describes it as a command battle system with a realistic sense of soccer packed with everything from intense action to mind games.

 

The “Scout” system introduced in the magazine shows that you’ll get to recruit characters for your team from many schools we’ve seen in the past. These include characters introduced for Raimon Junior High School, Seishou Gakuen, Outei Tsukinomiya, Teikoku Gakuen, Eisei Gakuen, Hakuren, Zeus, Kidokawa Seishuu, and Tonegawa Tousen.

 

Lastly, Level-5 announced that the very first Inazuma Eleven game will be available as a free download called Inazuma Eleven for Nintendo 3DS on eShop in Japan in Summer 2018.

 

Inazuma Eleven launches in Japan in Fall 2018 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. the game releases in Europe in 2018 and in North America in 2019.
