The INA-DAI Level-5 presentation ended up going over the fifth free Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road DLC update, and it features new additions to Chronicle Mode and Victory Road Online Tournament. The former means the actual Victory Road storyline will be in Chronicle. The latter adds some restrictions that could help with balancing and force new strategies for the online match-ups. This is also combined with a new Synergies feature to encourage certain character use. Everything arrives on all platforms June 11, 2026.
Some of the announcements are self-explanatory. Chronicle Mode is a means of going through matches and seeing storylines from different games in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. The update means the Destin Billows (Unmei Sasanami) storyline and his team’s journey will appear in there. Given the number of characters there, it means more opportunities for additional aid, allies, and strategies. Especially since Synergies will now offer benefits for certain folks being on the same team. That explanation with visuals came up at the 1:33 mark of a new trailer with English subtitles. Basically, if you buy them in the shop, then add the two or three characters tied to one on your active team and on the field, then everyone on the team gets an offensive or defensive perk as a result.
With the Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Online Tournament update, it seems like Seasonal Players could help with balancing. That requires certain folks to be on your team to actually take part in that tournament. While you can enter a tournament even if you don’t have everyone trained and ready, you would need to have them prepared and in-place when your matches start. The presentation didn’t mention who will be the first Seasonal Players when the June 11, 2026 update arrives.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is available on the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide now, and the free Kick-Off DLC arrives on June 11, 2026.
