In a HoyoLab post on May 22, 2024, HoYoVerse revealed that an increased resin cap will be one of the major quality of life changes in Genshin Impact version 4.7. There will also be optimized Artifact custom configurations, making it easier for people to equip Artifacts.
For starters, the Original Resin cap will increase from 160 to 200. This means that players will be able to craft five Condensed Resin at once after Genshin Impact version 4.7 goes live. As of right now, there is no increase on how many Condensed Resins a player can hoard at one time. We will still only be able to carry five. Players will also be able to add up to 100 friends, which is the current cap in Honkai: Star Rail as well.
Genshin Impact Version 4.7 will also have an optimized Artifact custom configuration when it comes to Fast Equip. You’ll be able to use the Fast Equip function to get Artifacts on a character based on data from active player in the game. If you want to use a build that might be a bit less popular or quirky, you’ll still need to manually equip Artifacts onto your character.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. New characters who’ll come out that patch are Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos.
