No explanation was offered for the sudden influx of free Injustice copies, beyond Warner Bros. saying it is a chance for people to be a hero. However, it is important to note this is the Ultimate Edition of the game. This means the DLC characters Batgirl, Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Scorpion, Zatanna, and Zod are all included. You also get the S.T.A.R. Lab Missions and DLC skins. While certain characters aren’t officially available in-game, via the skins you can play as people like Cyborg Superman and the Kendra Saunders version of Hawkgirl.

In other DC-related news, a DC Fandome event has been announced for August 22, 2020. It will run for 24 hours and start at 10am PT/1pm ET. In addition to expected comic, movie, and show announcements, WB Game news will be revealed during the presentations.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is available for the Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, PC, and mobile devices. The temporarily free copies are available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PC.
