Interactive Thriller 12 Minutes Releases August 2021

12 Minutes

12 Minutes, an “interactive thriller,” is coming to Xbox consoles and PC on August 19, 2021 (or in about 95,000 minutes). Luis Antonio is developing the game with Annapurna Interactive as the publisher.

The release date for 12 Minutes was confirmed via a trailer aired during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase on June 13, 2021.

With a narrative about a man trapped in a time loop, It takes on a top-down perspective. The game also features performances from well-known actors such as James MacAvoy (Glass), Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), and Willem Dafoe (Beyond: Two Souls). Players will have to use their accumulating knowledge from repeated loops to unlock new options to resolve the crisis.

12 Minutes will release on Xbox consoles and PC on August 19, 2021. It will be available via Game Pass on release day, as well.

Maybe one day he'll see enough of a given season to pretend to know what's hot. Until then, it's Star Trek reruns, gacha games, and bylines at Destructoid and GameCritics.
