We’re still waiting on a new Armored Core announcement, but we might have a possible teaser by FromSoftware. [Thanks, Gamestalk.]
Update: Game Spark updated after speaking to Yasunori Ogura. The marketing manager apologized for any confusion, but it was simply a new image to change his Twitter banner. It hasn’t been changed since Metal Wolf Chaos XD, so he went with an obscure Armored Core: Verdict Day promotional image that was mistaken as something new.
To be more specific, the potential teaser comes from FromSoftware marketing manager Yasunori Ogura’s Twitter profile. He updated the profile banner with the image below:
While it doesn’t confirm a new entry for the series, it looks like it could be something new. Furthermore, the company president Hidetaka Miyazaki hinted at a possible development for the Armored Core series in June of last year. However, we haven’t heard much else about it since then.
Armored Core: Verdict Day was the last entry from the series, which released in September 2013 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
