During the course of events in Final Fantasy VII Remake, it almost seems like maybe there’s hope for Jessie and she doesn’t succumb to the same fate as she did in the original FFVII. However, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth definitively tackles the fate of Jessie in the FFVII remake trilogy and reveal if she is dead.
Is Jessie dead or alive in Final Fantasy VII Remake and FFVII Rebirth?

Bad news. While the ending of Final Fantasy VII Remake might have left people thinking Jessie may have survived the events of the Sector 7 plate dropping, she is confirmed dead in FFVII Rebirth. However, is someone really gone if we remember them?
When you’re at the Gold Saucer for the first time in Chapter 8, part of the main campaign will involve Cloud and one of his allies exploring the park. In my case, he went around with Aerith visiting the different facilities. When you get to the Event Square theater, you’ll be able to walk down the hallway to the venue with your companion. When you do, you’ll pass a series of portraits of people who played the lead character in “Loveless,” which is showing at the moment.
Guess who’s there? It’s Jessie! Because she was in the show performing before she joined Avalanche, she’s still honored on the wall. Cloud will discuss her.
You’ll get to see her one more time after that. During the big date scene in Chapter 12, the party returns to the Gold Saucer. You’ll then get to watch some of Jessie’s performance.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available on the PS5, with the exclusivity arrangement ending on May 29, 2024.
