FFVII IX EVER CRISIS BANNER

Is the FFVII Ever Crisis FFIX Crossover Event Banner Worth Rolling On?

A new set of banners appeared in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, and as always one has to ask themselves the question: is it worth spending my hard earned currency on this new set of Weapons and Attire? Well, this guide will answer whether or not you should roll on the limited time FFVII Ever Crisis FFIX crossover banner.

Should you roll on the FFVII Ever Crisis FFIX crossover banner?

The short answer is yes, you should pull on the FFIX crossover banner. Each of the outfits available for Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith are by far the best available for each one in the game as of November 21, 2023. Not only does Tifa’s Amarant Attire make her a physical DPS powerhouse, which is what she excels in, but Aerith’s Garnet’s Gown makes her the best healer in the game. That may not mean much considering she is already the best healer in the game by a landslide and isn’t outclassed by any other character, but this will make harder content a lot easier for players struggling with keeping their parties alive. And a strong healer can make or break clearing content.

My suggestion is to roll on the Crossover 1 Banner, which as the Garnet’s Gown Attire, until you obtain both Garnet’s Rod and Gown. Once you have obtained the Attire, go to Crossover 2 and tap on Details. From there, select Tifa’s Amarant Attire and the accompanying weapons as your first Chocobo Stamp Sheet rewards. Worst case scenario, you will need to roll 24 times at max for all four items, but you’ll have some incredibly strong characters as a result.

Unfortunately, Cloud kind of gets the short end of the stick. Since so many of his Attires and Weapons just boost his physical damage, you’re okay with skipping out on this unless you really want the Zidane outfit.

Outside of these limited event banners, you can also do a 10 pull roll on a special crossover banner once per day. It won’t give you any outfits, but does have the chance of dropping one of the three limited Weapons for Tifa, Cloud, and Aerith. So definitely take advantage of those free rolls even if you’re skipping out on the gear this time around.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available for Android and iOS. The Final Fantasy IX crossover event banners will remain in the mobile game until December 7, 2023.
