Is This An Old PSP2 Model?

Officially, Sony still hasn’t announced a successor to the PSP, but news keeps popping up about a future handheld. Now, we might even have pictures of an old model, care of VG247.

The blog posted grainy photos of a PSP2 developer’s kit. The device looks a lot like the current PSPgo model with an extra analog stick and two cameras. There’s a trackpad on the back too, which is consistent with other rumors.

However, this probably won’t be the "PSP2" Sony releases in stores. Due to overheating problems, Sony switched the design back to a PSP-1000 style monitor, VG247 claims. Curious to see what kind of new games and control schemes come out of that a trackpad on the back.
