Rumor has it an old school is haunted and you decide to visit it with a group of friends. But, your "buddies" are jerks and leave you trapped inside the building. Apparently, you don’t have a cell phone to call for help because your only option is to escape or spend the rest of your life in a haunted school.

That’s the setting for Escape Trick: The School, a downloadable Nintendo 3DS coming to Japan on December 7. It’s a sequel of sorts to Escape Trick: Convenience Store, which Intense Co. and D3 Publisher released overseas.

Players can pick up items and combine them into useful tools. Most of the game is played with the stylus, but Intense added tilt added puzzles that use the microphone. You have to blow chalk dust away to reveal arrows, for example, and speak to activate a device.  Escape Trick: The School will retail for 500 yen ($6.50) in Japan.
