Jack-O And Johnny Show Off Their Moves In Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator

Recommended Videos

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator is the next version after –Sign-, and Arc System Works are bringing two new fighters with Jack-O and Johnny. Dengeki shows us some gameplay footage of the two new challengers.

The first video is a look at Johnny. It focuses on some of his special attacks and combos. He appears to still have a lot of familiar moves from past Guilty Gear games, but he also has some new tricks that he’s bringing to the Xrd series.

Towards the end of the video, they show what he looks like getting hit by Faust’s “Stimulating Fists of Annihilation,” because it wouldn’t be a full Guilty Gear Xrd character introduction video without it.

The next video features Jack-O in a mirror match against herself. She has a strange crouch, and it looks pretty interesting seeing her incorporate her ball and chain as part of her attacks and while she moves around.

Jack-O doesn’t look like the speediest of characters, but she she can shoot projectiles and spawn creatures that take up most of the screen, so it looks like you might be able to come up with some creative mix ups with her moves.

And just because Jack-O is a newcomer, that doesn’t make her exempt from Faust’s Overdrive or Instant Kill move. You can check out our earlier report to catch up on what else is new in Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator.

Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator will launch in arcades in Japan in Summer 2015.
