Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk Brings The Hard-Boiled Back To 3DS With First Screenshots

Jake Hunter, known as Tantei Jinguji Saburo in Japan, has been around for a quite a while now, but it’s getting its newest game in a long time this August for 3DS. Here’s what it looks like in its first screenshots from Famitsu.

The detective visual novel series Jake Hunter hasn’t seen any new releases in a while, but after Arc System Works acquired the rights to the franchise they’ve decided to announced that its first game in five years in the works with Ghost of the Dusk.

With staff who worked on the game since the series’ very beginning, the aim behind the new 3DS title is to have a story that will stay true to what we’ve seen from Jake Hunter without taking anything away.

 

Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk releases in Japan on August 31, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS.
