Japan Gets Reacquainted With PaRappa the Rapper On April 20 For PS4

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia announced today that PaRappa the Rapper Remastered is releasing in Japan on April 20 for PS4.

 

 

The rhythm game is a PS4 remaster of the original PlayStation version that released back in 1996. While keeping its fun rhythm and rapping action intact, the remaster keep things fresh with improved looks to go on PlayStation 4. The game will be available for 1,800 yen on the Japanese PlayStation Store as well as physical copies through retail.

Early downloads of PaRappa the Rapper Remastered on PS4 will come with the six original avatars shown in the above image.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia also shared a look at covers for LocoRoco and Patapon’s remastered versions that are expected to release in Japan sometime in 2017. Just like PaRappa, they’ll also be available in retail and digital.
