Atlus’ megaten spin off, Persona 3, has skyrocketed to being the second most wanted game in Japan according to Famitsu. This suggests that gamers are more eager to get their hands on Persona 3 than Metal Gear Solid 4 (#5), New Super Mario Brothers (#9) or Resident Evil 5 (#4). Final Fantasy III DS still holds the number one slot. Fortunately gamers in Japan don’t have to wait too long to play Persona 3, it is coming out in July. A release in North America has been confirmed, but we are going to have to wait until 2007 to play the game in English. Are you guys looking forward to playing Persona 3?
