Japan, you get Mega Man 9 on September 24

The battle between Mega Man and robot mistress Splash Woman begins on September 24, if you have a Japanese Wii handy. The release date just went up on Capcom Japan’s Mega Man 9 page.

Wait, September 24? That’s a Wednesday. WiiWare games usually come out on Tuesdays in Japan. Something is awry. You know what comes out on Wednesdays around the world without fail? Xbox Live Arcade games. Perhaps, Capcom trying to make all the different versions of Mega Man 9 launch as close together as they can. But, Mega Man 9 is only announced as a WiiWare game in Japan.

Could Mega Man 9 get a worldwide launch?
