Japan’s first PsOne classics in 2008 are…

Crash Bandicoot 2 is officially the first PsOne Classic on the PlayStation Store in 2008, which arrived in North America last week. Japan rings in the New Year with two downloadable PsOne Classics: Arc the Lad 3 and I.Q. Final. Both games ring in at 600 yen ($5) and Arc the Lad 3 is probably a better value for your money. However, I’m tempted to get I.Q. Final since I missed out on it. When it came out I felt it was too similar to Intelligent Qube to Research at full price, but for 600 yen it’s enticing.

With the third game now on Japan's PlayStation Store, Sony is wrapping up the series of Arc games in Japan. None of them have arrived in North America yet and I wonder if any of them ever will after the death of Working Designs.
