Agents of Mayhem, Volition’s newest game, is set in the Saints Row universe. Which is why it makes sense that Johnny Gat, one of that series’ most infamous characters, will be playable here too. He will be a pre-order bonus, just like the cosplay skins DLC, day one skins, and retailer exclusive skins.
Gat has always been an influential figure in the Saints Row series, appearing in all four installments. He first became a playable character in Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, the stand-alone Saints Row IV expansion. In this Agents of Mayhem introductory trailer, we see him making very good use of his guns, driving around in a police car that refers to him as Lt. Gat, and using his knife to shave.
Agents of Mayhem will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in North America on August 15, 2017. It will arrive in Europe on August 18, 2017.
