Alternate World Diego Brando isn’t the only character joining the new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fighting game. Bandai Namco announced a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Season 2 Pass with three DLC characters. A roadmap appeared in the new Diego trailer, noting it all begins with a fighter from Golden Wind in early Fall 2023.
Here’s the new Diego Brando trailer. At the one minute mark, the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R Season 2 Pass comes up and new characters are teased. There are no silhouettes, which means no hints at their identities. The Golden Wind character arrives first in “early Autumn 2023.” A Diamond is Unbreakable one follows in fall. The JoJolion character will show up in Winter 2023. There will also be early access to all three if you buy the pass, as well as a Haruno Shiobana outfit for Giorno Giovanna to wear.
With Golden Wind, Leone Abbacchio is a notable omission. Especially as Giorno, Bruno, Guido, Narancia, Pannacotta, and Trish are all there. Only one JoJolion character is present in the game so far. That’s Josuke Higashikata. This means the new addition could be Yasuho Hirose or Rai Mamezuku.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. The alternate Diego Brando from Steel Ball Run is available as the final Season Pass 1 add-on.
