Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has issued an update on the North American and European Judgment release via Twitter. While the game’s sales have been put on hold in Japan, due to the arrest of Pierre Taki, this will not have an effect on its worldwide release date. It will still come to the PlayStation 4 on June 25, 2019. However, some changes will be made to the Kyohei Hamura character in the game.

In the statement, Ryu Ga Gotoku said that Taki will be replaced as Hamura’s voice actor. The character model will also be changed, likely to match the appearance of the new person voicing him. In the meantime, all screenshots and videos with Hamura in them have been removed from Sega’s sites until new ones with the updated character model can replace them.

Here is the official tweet.

Judgment sales have been paused in Japan, but the game was first released on the PlayStation 4 in that region in December 2018. Judgment will be released in other regions on June 25, 2019.
