We now have a better idea of how the Zenin family and Fushiguro family tree looks in Jujutsu Kaisen, thanks to a new image shared on social media. This comes as the third season is now airing on Crunchyroll and the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo spin-off manga starring Maki Zenin’s descendants runs in Shonen Jump. It offers insights into how many of the major and minor characters from the series are connected.
Due to events in the manga and anime, as well as some other established details, we already basically knew how Jujutsu Kaisen characters like Megumi Fushiguro and Maki Zenin were related, but this new family tree is designed to make things a bit more clearer. The three main branches shown focus on establishing the connections between the cousins. This means we see the branch for Maki and her sister Mai Zenin, the one for Naoya Zenin, and the one that ends with Megumi. In the bottom left, there’s a general area that shows some other members of the family like Chojuro, Nobuaki, and Ranta Zenin, but it doesn’t go into more detail and shows them as isolated additional relatives.
Here’s the full Jujutsu Kaisen Fushiguro and Zenin family tree, and I added English text below character names and near certain generation signifiers. In the case of some unknown relations, such as Naobito Zenin’s wife, there are only question marks. Also, since we don’t know Megumi or Maki’s mothers’ names, those aren’t mentioned, but their character portraits do appear. As this is based on events as of the time of the main series, it does not include any Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo characters under Maki’s side.
This isn’t the only recent Jujutsu Kaisen mediarelease focusing on certain characters. The official Shueisha Manga Plus YouTube channel shared a new Satoru Gojo trailer. It features various panels from the series starring the teacher. Note that there will be spoilers if you haven’t kept up with the manga adaptation, especially toward the end of the video. While he isn’t related to any of the Zenin family, he is related to Yuta Okkotsu.
