Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for the Junji Ito crossover Gyaru Tomie Hello Kitty figure, which we last saw back in June 2026, and opened a special website dedicated to it. She’ll cost $149.99 in the US and 18,800 yen in Japan. We’ll see her arrive first in Japan, with the release window for it set for May 2027 there. Other regions will get it in Q4 2027.

This figure is based on a line of Junji Ito Sanrio merchandise that introduced Gyaru Tomie with Hello Kitty accessories in July 2024. In the official art, she’s in the outfit with the iconic cat’s items in front of a wall of plush toys. This recreates that by showing the monochromatic horror story character with Hello Kitty charms on her bag and phone, stickers based on the character on her phone and bag, the red ribbon in her hair and on her socks, a bracelet and earrings with the cat’s face, and a bandaid on her leg with the cat on it. The stand she’s crouching on also looks like Hello Kitty’s bow.

Here are the first photos of the figure that show how it will look when it launches. There are no additional parts or accessories included with it. She’ll “stand” at about five and a half inches tall.

Tomie isn’t the only Junji Ito character who appeared in this Sanrio character crossover. The Lovesickness Beautiful Boy also showed up, though he was paired with the Lloromannic characters Berry and Cherry. It’s unknown if we’ll ever see a follow-up figure with him and the two of them. However, other kinds of merchandise appeared in this crossover collection ahead of the figure.

The Gyaru Tomie Hello Kitty figure will show up in Japan in May 2027 and worldwide in Q4 2027. Pre-orders close on September 23, 2026.
