Just who is Nintendo marketing to?

Part of his analysis focus on the almighty dollar, which might be one of the reasons why the Wii is “winning”. The $249 price tag appeals to parents, casual gamers and the deeper wallets of the hardcore crowd. So let’s reverse the situation. What if the Playstation 3 was $249 and the Wii was $600. Would it sell? Could it still capture the “expanded audience” of gaming grandparents and Bejeweled addicts?
