Back in October 2025, Shueisha announced the first Kagurabachi character popularity poll alongside the series’ passing three million manga copies sold, and now the results are and share the 10 most popular characters in the series. As expected, Chihiro Rokuhira took first place. He came in at the top with 3,930 votes. A video went over the others who also joined him in the top 10.
Here’s the full list of all the characters who made it into the top 10 of the first Kagurabachi character popularity poll to be crowned the most popular. As people did need to do things like get tickets to vote from manga volumes, the numbers may be lower than expected. The announcement segments for the folks in the top three involve more scenes from the series.

- Seichi Samura – 1,275 votes

- Fushimi – 783 votes

Another Kagurabachi popularity poll is running right now worldwide, but it doesn’t involve characters. Instead, it is a “page popularity poll.” Until May 31, 2026, people can vote once per day for their favorite scene from the manga. There is an English version of the official site for that. There are 47 options to choose from in that poll.
There’s quite a bit of other Kagurabachi news regarding both the manga and its new anime adaptation. Viz Media just released the seventh volume in English at the start of May 2026. The eighth one will show up on August 4, 2026. As for the anime, that will launch in April 2027 worldwide. However, there will be a world tour that involves 20 minutes of the first episode being shown at conventions and other events.
The Kagurabachi manga is running worldwide, with Viz Media handling it outside Japan, and the anime adaptation will begin its run in April 2027.
