Kairosoft’s Venture Towns Nintendo Switch Port Arrives On December 20, 2018

A fourth Kairosoft game is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The company has announced a port of Venture Towns. Like past games, this is a simulation. However, this one has more of a SimCIty sort of feel, as your goal is to maintain a town and create districts so it thrives.

Like a lot of Kairosoft games, success in Venture Towns comes from finding and keeping up combos. This means if you place certain kinds of buildings near one another, they will interact positively and increase the value of the land and any possible products. For example, placing a hospital, spa, and sports gym near one another will trigger a health combo, while having a cake shop, florist, and green grocer will create a local combo.

Currently, only Japanese December 20, 2018 release date has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch version of Venture Towns. However, the last three Kairosoft Nintendo Switch ports only initially had Japanese release confirmations, but appeared in both the North American and European eShops on the same day. Venture Towns is immediately available worldwide on Android and Apple iOS devices.
