Kandagawa Jet Girls Details Tricks And EPD Gauge, Weapons, Racetracks, And Extra Activities

Earlier this week, Marvelous Entertainment released a large batch of info on Kandagawa Jet Girls, which is an upcoming game with involvement from Senran Kagura’s Kenichiro Takaki, focused on 2-person teams participating in water jet skiing.

Trick Actions

If you the jump ramps placed around the course, you can perform Trick Actions that can speed you up, increase your E.P.D. Gauge, obtain a short period of invincibility, and more. Each team’s Trick Action is different, and swapping Jetter and Shooter characters will yield a different Trick Action as well.

E.P.D. Gauge

As the race goes on, or when you go through rings, perform tricks or drift, you earn E.P.D. Gauge. You can use 20% of the gauge anytime you are above that percentage in order to do a boost, or you can charge it to 100% and unleash a finisher.

Race Gimmicks

The courses have gimmicks like speed boosters, and course-specific obstacles, and exciting setpieces.

Weapon Items

There are eight different types of weapons you can earn from Item Boxes, which you can use to shoot forward or backwards.

Assault Rifle

Basic weapon that can be used without Item Boxes. Fires multiple shots, and auto-reloads upon depletion.

Shotgun

Short range weapon with high damage.

Sniper Rifle

Low fire rate and ammo, but can pierce through multiple enemies.

Missile Launcher

Shoots targeted missiles at enemies, and can deal huge damage.

Twin Handguns

Low ammo, but shoots two water bullets at once, so it can deal a lot of damage in quick succession.

Grenade

Low range and fire rate,but the water grenades explode where it lands, so it can hit multiple opponents at once.

Mine

Drops mines on the water surface that explode and deal damage.

Minigames (Extracurricular Activities)

There are four minigames across different genres you can play to also earn points, which can be used to buy costumes and machine parts.

Jet Machine Washing

Press the buttons in order within the time limit to wash your vehicle.

Mopping the floor

Move left and right and avoid the pylons while cleaning puddles.

Running Machine

Button mash to run, and try catch the hearts flying your way.

Aerial

Maneuver the jet machine and pass through rings, and perform Trick Actions and Bank Actions at the relevant points in the course to earn points.

Shop

Using the points, buy costumes, accessory parts, and machine parts, and stamps.
